Four scholarships are now available for FileMaker DevCon, August 6 - 9, Grapevine Texas
For the third consecutive year, the Women of FileMaker is sponsoring scholarships to the FileMaker Developer Conference (DevCon) for women who would be attending for the first time. The scholarships cover DevCon registration fees and include a mentor to help the recipient navigate the conference. Apply for scholarships here: https://womenoffilemaker.com/scholarship/
DevCon offers a unique opportunity for learning and networking, and we would like to offer that opportunity to more women. At DevCon in 1997, 10% of DevCon attendees were women. Twenty years later, the percentage of female DevCon attendees has only doubled. The National Center for Women & Information Technology reports that only 26% of professional computing positions are held by women (see https://www.ncwit.org/sites/default/files/resources/btn_03232017_web.pdf). Wouldn’t it be great if the FileMaker community could lead the way to better representation for women?
