John Mark is now offering his hands-on training classes as self-paced training courses. These classes have been developed over the last
10 years via feedback from students. John Mark is a perfectionist who finally feels these classes are ready for self-paced
training.
John Mark has worked through the lessons once again with the intention of releasing them to the public. He has added an
instructor speech at the beginning of each lesson to make you feel like you are actually in the classroom with John Mark. In addition,
quizes follow each section in order to gauge your learning.
Recommended prerequisites include familiarity with
most FileMaker menu items and the ability to create relationships between files. Some experience with scripting and calculations
can help but is not required. There is even a special section in the appendix which assists beginners with scripting so they
work with the intermediate material covered in this course.

Currently, only the Philosophy of Scripting 101 is available for FileMaker Pro 7, 6, 5, 4 and 3. This course covers intermediate scripting
and calculations with an emphasis on teaching students how to think outside the box. This helps students
learn to solve their unique problems. The Philosophy of Scripting is a 3 day course costing $995.00 when taken in a classroom environment.
You can purchase the self-paced version of this course for only $99.00. It comes with all the workbook materials and
files as the regular hands-on course. All you have to do is print the PDF document and work along at home.
