Allow User Abort

Even though it may appear you have prevented the user from clicking the Cancel button in the status area, they can still cancel the script. On the Macintosh, the user can type Command-Period. Under the Windows operating system, the user can type the ESC key. Adding a single script step will prevent the user from cancelling your find script.

The Allow User Abort [Off] script step at the beginning of the Basic Find w/ Allow User Abort prevents the user from cancelling the script until the script ends.
