As described in the first section, there is no way to tell what the restored find criteria is by looking at the script, unless you add a Comment. If you change the approach of the script, the find criteria can be easier to identify at a glance. The steps below show you how to create a script to find all records that contain a "J" in the Text Entry field.

1. Create a new script and add the following commands: Enter Find Mode, Set Field and Perform Find
2. Uncheck the Enter Find Mode options for Restore and Pause
3. Uncheck the Perform Find option for Restore
4. Modify the Set Field command so it specifies the Text Entry field with a calculation of "J"
5. Click the OK button to accept the script

You can see how easy it is to determine what find criteria are being searched for when editing the script. The disadvantage of this approach is that it requires more script steps, especially if you need to search for multiple find criteria.
